Feature Rooms

Wake-up in a room which is so individual in history design and decoration you must be at the Best Western Red Lion Hotel.

All our feature rooms are located in the more historic parts of the hotel some dating back to 1220, many of which have examples of the original wall coverings and decoration, beautiful fire places, and visible beams.

Oversized beds await you with plumb pillows and large fluffy toweling robes, the hotels luxury toiletries are generously distributed in the bathrooms.

With rooms overlooking the Courtyard with its 200 year old Vine and attractive flower beds, you can almost hear the stage coaches rattling through on their journey from London to Bristol.

LCD flat screen freeview televisions, clock radio, complimentary wireless internet access, direct dial telephone, hair dryer and refreshment tray. 

We are also members of a local gym which, subject to availability is free of charge to all residents the membership card is issued on a first come first serve basis

Three of our feature rooms have four poster beds, ideal for Honeymooners, anniversaries and romantic weekends away.

All of our bedrooms are non smoking.
