This room runs the length of one side of the Court Yard commanding wonderful views over to the front door

All our bedrooms are individually designed by our Director, with most of the soft furnishings made in our sewing room located in the hotel

The Vine Restaurant

The Vine Restaurant is a beautifully proportioned room, allowing for intimate dining or larger dinner parties. The Vine Restaurant also has on display a fine collection of blue and white china.

Autumn in the Court Yard

The vine which drapes the building is infact a creaper and as the story goes it was planted in 1220 when the Hotel was built, so the story goes the leaves turn such a bright red because they use to feed the creeper with blood.

Summer in the Court Yard

The Court Yard originally the area where the stage coaches pulled into the hotel to deliver the post on the London to Bristol or London to Exeter, now an oasis of tranquility where one can relax enjoy a light meal or drink
